Tall and sturdy, this hamper from The Clothes Line keeps laundry tidy while it's waiting for its turn in the washer. The unit's durable boxy sides are lined on the interior with breathable canvas, and on the exterior with a tightly woven resin wicker. Durable cord handles make it easy to transport to the laundry room, and the whole unit can be collapsed flat for storage or moving. My wife and I used to pile our clothes next to the bedroom door until we got this neat little hamper. I was very surprised how many clothes actually fit into this thing. The only flaw in it's design is the lid. It just doesn't close completely with the velcro (I think they should made it boxed on all three sides). Aside from this, it is a very compact and nifty hamper that does the job. Now, if someone could help me wash all these clothes...

My boyfriend and I live in a two room apartment. There is not a lot of storage space. I ordered two of these hampers and the first one just came. I put his clothes in and he still has half of the hamper left. I am so glad to get something that is sturdy and large now we will have a place to put our clothes.

I was looking for a hamper with these specifics:
1. Not expensive (had to be under $20)
2. Not flimsy or nylon or wicker
3. Had a lid
4. Had a lid i could put stuff on as temporary usable counter area in my bathroom
5. Did not have cartoon characters on it.
6. Had somewhat modern asthetics
This hamper was perfect.

This product is exactly what I was looking for at a great price. It's narrow, but tall so it doesn't take up too much space in the closet and holds plenty of laundry. The handles make it easy to move to the washing machine.
